Custom hover lets you choose which fields appear in the hover tooltip on Calendar exam tiles, so the details you care about are one hover away. Configure it in Settings > Custom hover. It applies to the examination hover tooltip; the gap, operating-hours, reserved-block, and event tooltips use fixed layouts.
Access and permissions
Open Settings > Custom hover. Anyone with access to the tab can view the configurations; editing (adding fields, saving, setting a default, or deleting a view) requires manage permission on the tab — view-only users see the setup but cannot change it. Custom hover views are personal to your account — they don’t affect other users.
Building a hover view
A view is a named set of hover fields. To build one:
Add fields from the catalog with their checkboxes; use the search box to find a field by name.
Drag to reorder the selected fields — top-to-bottom here is the order they appear in the tooltip.
Remove a field with its checkbox or the trash icon.
A view holds between 1 and 15 fields (keeping it under ~10 reads best). View names are up to 50 characters and must be unique. The available fields are a fixed catalog covering examination timings, durations and utilization, appointment, clinical order and protocol (AI / RIS / rule-based), equipment, staff, report and turnaround times, patient, and location. The picker lists them all — some may be blank if your site doesn’t receive that source data.

Default view and switching
You can keep several views and mark one as the Default, which the Calendar uses on load. From a Calendar exam tooltip you can switch the active view for your current session without changing the default, and make quick field edits inline via the pencil icon (a blue dot flags unsaved edits).
When changes take effect
Changes apply when you Save; the Calendar refreshes and new tooltips reflect the update. You cannot delete the Default view or the last remaining view.
