Your chats
Q-Lens keeps your recent chats in the Your chats panel beside the chat, so asking a follow-up tomorrow does not mean starting over.
Select a chat to reopen it and carry on.
The panel lists only your own chats, and only you can rename or delete them. It shows your 50 most recent chats. A chat appears once Q-Lens has given it a title, which can take up to about 30 seconds after you send your first message; a chat you never sent a message in is not listed.
Naming
Q-Lens gives each chat a title of its own based on what you asked — something like Count MR scans August 2025.
To rename one, select the pencil icon (Rename) on its row, type the new name, and press Enter. Clicking away also saves the new name. Press Escape to abandon the edit without saving. An empty name is not saved.
Renaming is worth doing on anything you expect to come back to — the generated titles are descriptive but similar chats produce similar titles.
Deleting
Select the trash icon (Delete) on a chat's row. A Delete chat? dialog asks you to confirm: the chat is removed from your history and deleted in Q-Lens.
Deleting the chat you currently have open returns you to a new, empty chat rather than leaving you on something that no longer exists.
Giving the answer more room
Collapse the panel with the caret control at its top when you would rather give Q-Lens's answers the full width of the window. Expand it again the same way. The control matches the one on the main application sidebar. You can also drag the panel's edge to make it wider or narrower.
Starting a new chat
Use New chat at the top of the panel. If you are already in a new chat, the button is disabled, and hovering over it shows Already in a new chat.
